Children’s dentistry
The dental health of our younger patients is very important to us. Quality dental care for children is absolutely vital to help them to smile with confidence for life.
Your children’s teeth are just as susceptible to decay and other problems as your own teeth are. Even though their “baby” teeth are later replaced, they still have a huge effect on your child’s future smile.
We encourage patients to bring their children with them to their appointments even before their own teeth appear. By doing this they can get used to the sights, smells and sounds of the practice.
Children should have regular dental examinations once they have their own teeth. These will be fairly informal, but enable us to keep a close eye on how your child’s teeth are developing.
At our practice in Birmingham we provide dental care on the NHS for children and young adults up to the age of 19. If any treatment is necessary, we will provide you with NHS and private options.
